Final-year MSc student at IST (Instituto Superior Técnico, Lisbon), specialising in Control, Robotics and AI. Researcher at ISR VISLab, where my work on robotic bin-packing led to a co-authored publication and evolved into my Master's thesis — training RL and supervised models for intelligent 3D object placement. Beyond university, I've taught robotics to kids, designed PCBs for an electric vehicle raced at Goodwood, UK, and managed corporate partnerships for IST's largest Electrical and Computer Engineering job fair. Targeting a first job position, with full availability from January 2027.

Master's thesis on the AI Packbot project — an AI-driven decision model for optimal object placement based on spatial states and semantic constraints (e.g. keeping chemicals away from food, protecting fragile items), integrated with automated robotic pick-and-place. BSc final project: Smart Grid Optimisation through V2G System and Blockchain Transactions.

Focused on robotic pick-and-place manipulation using the Baxter robot and ROS. Co-authored the article HERB: Human-augmented Efficient Reinforcement Learning for Bin-packing, accepted for presentation at the 2026 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics (AIM).

Teaching robotics and programming to children and teenagers through practical, project-based STEM classes. Responsible for adapting technical content, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and guiding students to successfully complete their projects.

Mobile Energy Sustainability Project
Built highly efficient, sustainable electric vehicles for international competition. Responsibilities: custom PCB design, 3D CAD modelling and microcontroller programming. In 2024 represented the team at the Greenpower Challenge in Goodwood, UK — troubleshooting real-time electrical failures under race conditions.
